About Us
Raizwood owns and operates plantations and sawmills in the well-known timber producing region of Kwa-Zulu Natal in South Africa. Our plantations include softwoods and hardwoods in various stages of forest management and regeneration.
Raizwood employs over 200 people , more than half of whom are women from the surrounding rural areas.
Our plantations have been managed since the 1800s. The wood processed in our sawmill is used in industries such as transportation, logistics and warehousing, industrial and commercial manufacturing, and construction.
