Michael’s current activities include international and local start-ups in South Africa, Namibia, Europe and the USA as well as retail and office property holdings. Michael’s expertise within Loxworth lies in identifying entrepreneurial initiatives and flexible and creative deal structuring to ensure streamlined transactions and a seamless investor experience.

Majed Al Dossary
Co-founder

Majed Al  Dossary, the Vice President of Raiz Group, has an MBA and a BSc Degree in Computer Engineering. Majed spent 25 years of his career at Saudi Aramco Oil Company before branching out to establish his own company, Raiz Group. Throughout his career, he has held various positions and maintained an excellent track record of ensuring the highest level of market satisfaction.

He strongly believes in earning and maintaining clients’ trust by providing highly competent services with dedication and professionalism . Thanks to his vast experience, Majed has established a global network of support services for various business sectors, including Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Medical, and Agriculture.

Michèle James
dIRECTOR

Michèle has a strong focus on sustainability and social impact. She leads the development and implementation of responsible business strategies that are in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from the United Nations and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) guidelines.

At Raizwood, Michèle is responsible for developing the business framework and implementing the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda. She is passionate about promoting positive change by prioritizing job creation and skills transfer through education and training.

Henri Trollip
Portfolio Director

With 21 years’ experience in program management and the built environment fields, Henri ensured the successful execution of complex contracts of more than €1billion in various countries including South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Papua New Guinea, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Singapore, and North America.

Henri contributes to Loxworth Capital’s development and strategy by driving management actions to reach objectives in compliance with law, governance rules and ethic code, regulations, as well as in preserving company interest and rights in the various portfolios.Henri holds a Degree in Civil Engineering, Certification in Project Management, and an MBA.

Ahmad Chhourey
Business development Director

Ahmad has more than 10 years' extensive experience in management and tactical business leadership. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Engineering Management.

Ahmad offers expertise in risk management, turnaround strategies, market penetration, vendor management, organizational development, process improvement, revenue generation, and planning and implementation. He excels in achieving optimal results through competent planning, organisation, and a solutions-oriented approach. With his diplomatic leadership and analytical thinking, Ahmad inspires and cultivates productive working relationships with employees and partners.

Gene Wegener
Operations & Supply Chain

With over 40 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain management.Gene was involved in both strategic and operational activities during this time, including developing manufacturing and supply chain operations, quality assurance, and health and safety, as well as assisting with organizational restructuring and introducing cutting-edge technologies at a global level.

Merina Van Vollenhoven
Financial Analyst

Merina is a registered CA (SA) with a B.Com in Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting. Her experience includes working as an auditor and manager, overseeing the preparation, audit and independent review of financial statements.

Currently, Merina is a Senior Audit Consultant at Makosi in New York, performing audits and independent reviews of financial statements. She also has experience in financial analysis and is involved in budgeting, forecasting and calculations for decision making. She is well versed in accounting software and has worked in a variety of industries including retail, healthcare, agriculture and manufacturing.

Gabrielle Brown
Head of Logistics

Gabrielle Brown is a committed professional with over two decades of experience in logistics and supply chain management. Having held progressive positions, she has made significant contributions to various areas of logistics operations in industries such as correctional facilities, mining, and oil and gas facilities, among others. Gabrielle’s diverse talents and skills have played a vital role in supporting the achievement of her company’s operational goals and overall business objectives.

In her role as a logistics manager, Gabrielle managed to optimise inventory levels, coordinate transportation, and oversee warehouse operations. These experiences have enriched her understanding of the critical role of logistics in the supply chain. At the same time, as an operations manager, Gabrielle demonstrated her leadership by overseeing the sales team, contract management, and project execution. Her strategic approach to logistics and focus on streamlining operations have contributed to her success and the continuous improvement of overall supply chain performance. With a deep commitment to excellence in her field, Gabrielle looks forward to tackling future challenges and leveraging her skills to drive operational efficiency and business growth.
